Island Life

Our Climate

Summers are magnificently sunny and warm with beautiful blue skies and long summer evenings.

Springtime is a beautiful time of year with crocuses blooming in February and by mid April gardens are lush and all the leaves are on their  trees.

Fall delights with the turning of the leaves into the majestic colors of ‘summer just past’  Beautiful yellows, oranges, golds and reds everywhere you look.

Winters are very mild with  one or two days of snow that melts away quickly so it is easy to visit  and travel at this time of year.

Vancouver island enjoys more sunshine, and the best climate throughout the year, according to Environment Canada.  We have many families and couples  staying here during all seasons and snowbirds in winter  leaving the colder  climes in other parts of Canada behind.

Golf is a year round sport here!
