A great juice recipe that I just made up.

A nice warm juiceĀ for a cool day in May!

Following in the footsteps of the Joe Cross’ juicing regime, I was feeling a little cool the other day and decided I wanted a little savory something to warm me up and so I looked in my pantry and decided Mexico was where I want to be with the juice scene so I put together these items and the result was a resounding Yes! Dying to try it as a cocktail soon.

~Juice 1 English cuke, 2 carrots, 2 celery stalks, 2 limes, 12 kale leaves or other leafy greens.

~Throw in blender with 3 medium tomatoes, 1/2 tsp each of garlic, onion, chipotle and oregano powders. and blend together. I added a sprinkling of pink salt and put in fridge to cool down. You can play around with your favorite herbs and spices but this combo gives it a Mexican Fiesta flare without the cumin.

This provides a nice warm glow all around the innards…Feels nice and tastes good….and in summer add a little vodka or gin perhaps….Cocktails anyone?
